Inspire North Annual Review 2025/26
This year marked a historic milestone as Inspire North, Foundation and Community Links came together as one Inspire North, united by a shared purpose: creating a world where everyone matters. Alongside the amalgamation, we launched a new brand identity, a new organisational website and began rolling out refreshed signage across our services, helping create a stronger and more connected organisation for the future.
Our Impact in Numbers
During 2025/26, Inspire North supported people across a diverse range of services:
- 3,583 people accessed Mental Health Services.
- 3,109 people were supported through Wellbeing & Signposting services.
- 1,127 people received Dementia Support.
- 947 people were supported through Supported Accommodation services.
- 560 young people accessed support through our Young People's Services.
- 59 people were supported through our Domestic Abuse Services.
Across all services, 98% of people said they would recommend Inspire North to friends and family, highlighting the positive experiences of those who access our support.
One Inspire North
The launch of One Inspire North was one of the most significant developments in our history. Bringing together three organisations under one identity has strengthened collaboration, improved efficiency and created new opportunities to grow and innovate. During the year, we also launched our new website in partnership with The Developer Society, rolled out new signage across our services and welcomed Women's Counselling and Therapy Service (WCTS) as a subsidiary organisation.
Investing in People and Communities
This year saw colleagues come together for our first Employee Conference as a unified Inspire North, with more than 320 attendees taking part in a day of learning, collaboration and celebration. We also continued investing in service improvements through our Internal Grants Scheme, funding projects that promoted wellbeing, creativity, independence and community connection across the organisation.
Fundraising and community support also played an important role, with supporters helping raise £10,334.71 to create additional opportunities for clients and services.
Creating Inclusive Futures
Inclusion remains at the heart of everything we do. During the year, Inspire North was ranked 23rd in the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List, retained Disability Confident Leader status and published its first Gender and Ethnicity Pay Report as a unified organisation. Teams across the organisation also led and participated in awareness campaigns including Black History Month, Pride, LGBTQIA+ History Month, Ramadan, Eid and anti-racism initiatives.
Looking Ahead
As we move forward, we remain ambitious for the future. We will continue investing in innovation, strengthening partnerships, listening to the clients at our services and ensuring support remains accessible, inclusive and person-centred.
