Our Commitment to Social Value

At Inspire North, social value is not an add-on, it’s at the heart of who we are and how we work. It shapes our services, drives our strategy, and reflects our deep commitment to creating lasting, positive change in the communities we serve.

We are proud to share our journey so far, our ambitions for the future, and our latest Social Value Annual Report, which captures our impact across 2023/24 and 2024/25.

Our Social Value Journey

Social value is embedded in our Inclusive Business and Growth Strategy 2024 to 2029: ‘Future Proof’. We’ve already achieved Bronze and Silver Social Value Quality Mark (SVQM) accreditations and are working towards Gold by January 2026.

Our approach is built around four strategic pillars:

  • Local Communities – Building resilience and cohesion
  • Local People – Enhancing wellbeing and opportunity
  • Leadership – Acting with integrity and transparency
  • Local Economy – Supporting local jobs, suppliers, and sustainability

Our Social Value Pledges

Co-produced with colleagues across the organisation, our pledges reflect what matters most to us and the people we support. These include commitments to:

  • Improve health and wellbeing
  • Increase access to education, employment, and volunteering
  • Reduce offending and social isolation
  • Support safe housing and environmental sustainability
  • Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion

Each pledge is underpinned by Key Value Indicators (KVIs) that help us track progress and impact.
