We’re 8th on the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List!

We are delighted to announce that Inspire North has come in 8th on the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List!

This the first time Inspire North as a group has featured in the list, with Community Links prominent in previous years. This recognises our commitment to diversity and inclusion across our whole family of charities.

The disruption of COVID-19, followed by the impact of the Black Lives Matter Movement, has prompted many employers to adapt, and highlighted those that are leading with inclusion at the forefront. At Inspire North our Ending Racism is Everyone’s Business agenda is underway, as we seek to lead the way on equality and inclusion.

The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List recognises the outstanding efforts of organisations that have begun their journey to attracting and retaining a truly diverse workforce, achieving equality, diversity and inclusion.

Donna Gooby, Director of People and Culture at Inspire North, said: “I am so pleased that our ongoing commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion has been recognised across the whole of our group.

“The events of this year have shocked and appalled so many of us. We are determined to lead the way on equality as we know there is so much more to do, starting with our Ending Racism is Everyone’s Business agenda.”

Jiten Patel, Conscious Inclusion Specialist and IT50 judge, said: “This year, the world was rocked by COVID-19 and the senseless killing of George Floyd. Companies are talking about diversity and inclusion more than ever and, of course, it is great to recognise those that are really creating culture change.”
