New Co-production Trustee Joins Inspire North
We are delighted to announce that Alina Kaur will be joining our Board of Trustees in a new role as Co-production Trustee.
Alina has more than 17 years’ experience in supported housing, working in particular with people experiencing homelessness and domestic abuse. She set up an award-winning service that provides support to South Asian women and children fleeing domestic abuse. This service won the Women In Housing Award for an innovative process that Alina introduced.
Alina said: “I am delighted to be joining the Inspire North Board as a Trustee championing co-production. Putting the client voice at the heart of the work we do in health, social care and supported housing, and delivering client-driven services, is of huge importance to me.
“I am excited to be part of Inspire North’s vision to create a world where everyone matters, and I look forward to working with a very dedicated Board and Leadership Team to strengthen the future aspirations of the group.”
Chair of the Board of Trustees Claire Vilarrubi said: “We are so pleased to have Alina with us on the Inspire North Board. Her experience and dedication to the client voice will be invaluable to us as we move to support more clients experiencing homelessness and domestic abuse. We look forward to working together.”
Inspire North CEO Ruth Kettle said: “People using our services must know they are designed with them, so we must have co-production embedded at all levels of the organisation. We are therefore delighted that Alina has chosen to join our Board as Co-production Trustee. Alina has such a wealth of experience in our core work and is dedicated to the client voice. She will be able to bring a fresh perspective on the work that we are doing. The Board of Trustees, Leadership Team and I are looking forward to working together with Alina as we develop our services.”
