Commitment

Approx. 8 meetings per year (usually held Wednesday 5:30pm – 7:30pm) and one away day a year, usually a Saturday, and occasional events.

Meetings can be attended remotely if required but the away day is held in person.

Expenses: Reasonable travel and out-of-pocket expenses reimbursed

About WCTS

WCTS (Women’s Counselling and Therapy Service) is a Leeds-based charity dedicated to improving mental health and wellbeing for women and girls. We provide free, specialist counselling and therapy to those who need it most, often at times of crisis or significant life change.

We Are Particularly Looking for Applicants with Professional Experience in Any of the Following Areas:

  • Clinical: Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements is essential; knowledge of BACP and their Ethical Framework is desirable.
  • Governance & Leadership: Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance, particularly within a charity setting.
  • Strategic: Ability to challenge constructively and supportively, helping us grow and innovate.
