Have you ever thought about becoming a Trustee?
Join us as a Trustee supporting people with mental health, housing and domestic abuse issues.
Our family of organisations consists of Community Links, Foundation and Bridging the Gap. To find out more please visit www.inspirenorth.co.uk/home/about-us/
We’re keen to strengthen our Board of Trustees with new members and are particularly interested in applicants with a clinical background in psychiatry to join our Community Links Board.
With other Trustees, you’ll be responsible for the governance of the organisation, its strategic development and ensuring the charity is well run. You’ll demonstrate an understanding of what it takes to deliver effective services and be able to make good decisions.
You’ll have a deep commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and be keen to support our commitment to Anti-Racism.
Your commitment is approximately a day a month and involves attending 1/4ly Board meetings and sitting on 1 of our 3 sub-committees which also meet quarterly (Board meetings are held concurrently for the group).
Our Head Office is based in Leeds – virtual attendance for Board meetings is possible, however attendance to a proportion of meetings in person is desirable.
We’re keen to increase the diversity of our Board and would particularly welcome applications if you are from an under-represented group, have lived experience, or are new to trusteeship. You’ll receive a full induction and will be supported by other Board Members and the Chief Executive.
If you wish to learn more about this opportunity, please email Ruth Kettle, Chief Executive email@example.com
To apply please see attached role profile and application pack and send your completed application form to firstname.lastname@example.org
Potential trustees must be eligible in line with Charity Commission regulations which are available from www.charitycommission.gov.uk
